G Scale Characters

Every Character has a story: Jasper T. Botlehan (nicknamed Throttlehand) is no exception. He has experience working for many railroad companies. His broad list of employers has helped Jasper attain quite a good reputation for handling the equipment but his short fuse has also attained him another reputation of sorts. Some say he is a drifter but it is usually the result of some altercation with a fellow worker that has caused him need to move on or look for new work. He usually gets along with his crewmen for a while, but is known for short temper. That temper has caused Jasper some real trouble. A funny thing happened the day the company brought out a photographer to shoot this photo of Jasper and Faron. G Scale CharactersYou see,Jasper is a very animated individual, so when he was asked to pose for this photo Jasper made a gesture as if he were feeding the throttle. The photographer jokingly commented they should nickname you bottle hand. Although the photographer may have thought his comment as quick-witted humor, the others who were there that day did not laugh and would have considered the photographer to be slow witted when it comes to common sense. However, good fortune was shining on the photographer that day. Faron, who was standing next to Jasper and was familiar with Jasper's temper and sensitivity about his last name, quickly avoided a potentially explosive situation. Faron told Jasper the photographer said throttle hand. Any way Faron energetically agreed and continued to grin, thus a nickname was born on that day.

G Scale CharactersFaron Monroe on the other hand is a quiet but hard working man, known best for his considerate and generous nature. You are likely to find Faron sharing his lunch with the squirrels or reading to some of his coworkers who are not able to read. He is also known to grab a fist full of wild flowers to take back to his wife whenever he leaves the camp for time off. He has worked for the camp since it first opened and he plans to work there indefinitely.

You may consider these two fellows as the original odd couple, but your equipment will be well in hand with these two men. It's hard to find good help these days especially in 1/20:3 scale, that's why you should hire Jasper and Faron.
